Denali's name to be restored at last


Although I edited our book about climbing Denali, I had never set eyes on the 6200-metre mountain until last month when the clouds cleared from its summit during our trip to the National Park. It's great to read in the Guardian that President Obama is going to replace the absurdly inappropriate "Mount McKinley" with its Athabascan name which means "The Great One".
