Newsletter No 29 June 24 2009

Dear Subscriber

Welcome to our post-solstice newsletter 29. Below are three items:
1. Subscriber discount £2 off
2. From our forums
3. Walk Highlands and free 1:25,000 OS mapping

Please unsubscribe ... unless you want us to go on sending newsletters: just visit or scroll down to click the Unsubscribe link at the foot of this email. We hate spam, but after every newsletter goes out, a couple of subscriber who have forgotten that they ever opted in mark us as spam. This is very damaging to our reputation, so please just unsubscribe and we'll never bother you again - guaranteed!

1. Subscriber discount £2 off

We really appreciate your support and are offering all newsletter subscribers a simple cash discount: just use the code newsletter29 to claim £2 off your order (minimum spend £11, valid until 15 July). Just click the Buy tab above, and enter the code at step two of the order process.

2. From our forums

Have you been on our forums recently? If no, you may be interested in some June updates.

For example, on the Rob Roy Way, Stuart Dodson has posted an update on thirst-quenching pubs.

On the Kintyre Way, ranger Owen Paisley has posted a route update about the bit through Ronachan House.

And on the Cowal Way, there's an update about camping.

3. Walk Highlands and free 1:25,000 OS mapping

Last newsletter, we mentioned the excellent WalkHighlands website, run by Paul and Helen Webster from Skye. Just afterwards, they developed a compelling reason for you to register with them: free OS 1:25,000 mapping (sponsored by Quo) for you to view, save and print. This certainly makes using your computer more convenient than the average walking guidebook. You can download and print not only the route description, but also really detailed mapping: brilliant!

With best wishes and thanks for reading. Sorry no pix this time, but you'll find plenty on my blog.
