Hi all

I'm planning to do the Wicklow Way in 2010 but am not used to carrying heavy loads and would prefer to use a baggage transfer service.

Does anybody know of a reliable one, and what's it likely to cost?  I plan to walk from Dublin to Tinahely over 6 days.  I'd like the heavy bag delivered to each of my hostels/B&Bs if possible.

Thanks for any ideas
Jennie

Hi, Jennie
My name is Gerry and I operate a taxi and minibus service in Roundwood doing luggage transfers for people walking the Wicklow Way.

I also do airport and ferry transfers, to make your walk along the Wicklow Way as hassle-free as possible.

Please get in touch: thanks.

Hi Jennie,

There is a dedicated Wicklow Way baggage transfer service that has been up and running for the last two years. They cover the entire length of the Wicklow Way, picking up and dropping off bags to any of the B&Bs adjacent to the trail...

http://www.wicklowwaybaggage.com/

You can find out more information on the trail and its services on http://www.wicklowway.com

Have a great time on the trail!

Eoin
