New path at Carradale

Just to let everyone know the route now goes off-road at Carradale. Previously it came down to the road just outside the main village and walkers had to follow the road out of the village until it turned south just before the network centre. That section of road wasn't very pleasant and had a nasty blind corner without a pavement. The new route folllows a forest track parallel to the road before descending at the network centre. There is a finger post at the point where the old and new routes diverge with one finger marked Kintyre Way and the other pointing into the village with a bed and dining symbol on it. I'll be sending a map to the forum shortly which should make everything clear.

Many thanks for the information, Owen
That sounds like another important improvement, and we have posted your map of the change on our main website page about the route and our guidebook: please visit our
Route updates
and
view updated maps
(Carradale is the second bullet).
