Can someone tell me if there are campsites at the end of each leg if you do it in 5 days or do you just have to wild camp on your way round.

Also are there bunkhouses available on the route?  Thanks.

Hi there
There are campsites for tents at Ballintuim (between Bridge of Cally and Kirkmichael), Nether Craig (north of Alyth) and New Alyth (Bridge of Cally takes caravans only).  There are bunkhouses at Spittal of Glenshee (both in the hotel and at Gulabin Lodge).  However, wild camping is allowed anywhere that access rights apply.  Please read the related posts here.  Enjoy your hike and please tell us how you found the camping after you get back!

Echoing what Jacquetta has said. Campsites are Ballintuim 01250 886276, Five Roads Caravan park New Alyth 01828 632255, Nether Craig nr Alyth 01575 560204. There are two bunkhouses at the Spittal they are Gulabin Lodge 01250 885255 and the Spittal Hotel bunkhouse 01575 582341. Apart from that you can wildcamp. We are currently producing a new leaflet which will feature a map and full accommodation listing. The leaflet will also be available to view on our website www.pkct.org.
Cheers Andy
